2024: Rivers Assembly Okays N800bn "Budget Of Renewed Hope & Consolidation"

The Ehie Edison-led Assembly has passed the 2024 Budget successfully presented to the Rivers State House of Assembly by His Excellency, Sir Siminalayi Fubara, Executive Governor of Rivers State .

The budget christened "Renewed Hope, Consolidation and Continuity" costs N800,392,485,433.00.

It is reported that the State Govt has earmarked N412bn for capital expenditure, N361bn for recurrent and N128bn for critical infrastructure such as health, education, security etc.
