NDDC to engage region’s stakeholders in project process – MD Ogbuku

Dr. Samuel Ogbuku, the Managing Director, Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC), has pledged to collaborate effectively with key stakeholders and governor's in the region.

He expressed confidence that working with stakeholders would enable the commission to undertake sustainable projects that meet the people’s expectations.

The Managing Director and CEO of the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC)  Dr. Samuel Ogbuku, has reiterated the commission's commitment to completing capital projects that add value to the region.

Speaking at the Niger Delta Stakeholders Pre-Summit Technical Session, Dr. Ogbuku emphasised that the NDDC will only approve projects that align with the 8-point presidential priorities and the NDDC Act of 2000.

He assured stakeholders that the commission is dedicated to collaborating with state governors in the region as development partners, rather than competing against them. This partnership aimed to facilitate rapid progress in the Niger Delta region.

However, the NDDC's renewed focus on capital projects and collaboration with state governments is expected to bring about significant improvements in the region's infrastructure and economy.
