IPDI applauds Tompolo, Pondi, Tare for Peace, youth empowerment, Security, Environmental Sustainability in N'Delta

The National President of Ijaw People's Development Initiative, IPDI, distinguished Comrade Ozobo Austin has expressed his heartfelt appreciation for the tireless efforts of High Chief Government Ekpemupolo (Tompolo), Chairman Tantita Security Service Limited, Chief (Engr) Kestin Pondi, Tantita's MD and Tantita's GM, Sir, Godfrey Tare Pondi in promoting peace, ensuring adequate security, and prioritising environmental safety and empowerment of thousands of people in the Niger Delta region. 

According to the statement, their collaborative efforts had been instrumental in creating a conducive environment for economic growth and development in Nigeria.

Ozobo noted that the trio's commitment to peace and security had significantly contributed to a boost in oil production, which had a positive impact on the global economy. "The increased oil and gas production has led to improved in the nation's revenue, job creation, and infrastructure development in the country", the group emphasised.

He specifically commended Tompolo for his leadership in maintaining peace and security in the Niger Delta region, which had been critical in preventing disruptions to oil production and ensuring the safety of lives and property. "Tompolo's efforts have earned him recognition as a champion of peace and security in the Niger Delta", he noted.

Ozobo also applauded Chief (Engr) Kestin Pondi, Tantita's MD for his unwavering commitment to environmental sustainability and empowerment of thousands of persons in the country, stating that his initiatives had helped to protect the region's fragile ecosystem and promote sustainable practices in the oil and gas industry. 

"Pondi's efforts have been instrumental in minimizing the environmental impact of oil production and ensuring that the region's natural resources are preserved for future generations", he added.

He further commended Sir Godfrey Tare Pondi for his role in promoting youth empowerment, environmental safety and community development. "His initiatives have helped to empower local communities and ensure that they benefit from the region's economic growth. Tare's efforts have been critical in promoting social justice and ensuring that the benefits of oil production are equitably distributed", IPDI maintained.

Ozobo's commendation emphasised the importance of collaborative efforts in achieving sustainable development and prosperity in the Niger Delta region. He emphasised that the trio's commitment to peace, security, environmental sustainability, and community development serves as a model for others to follow.
