The competition, organized by Comrade Sheriff Mulade, celebrated the spirit of peace and unity among Deltans and featured thrilling football matches.

The Final Showdown

The much-anticipated final match saw Team Itsekiri (Ugbomarun FC) face off against Team Ndokwa (Ndokwa East United FC). Although the final was slated to kick off at 2:00 PM, delays pushed the match to a 3:20 PM start.

Team Itsekiri wasted no time making their mark, scoring just five minutes into the game. However, Team Ndokwa equalized in the 21st minute, restoring the competitive energy. Itsekiri regained the lead with a goal in the 36th minute, closing the first half with a 2-1 advantage.

The second half saw both teams battling fiercely, but it was Team Itsekiri that sealed their victory with a dramatic goal in the 89th minute, ending the match 3-1.
