Evah Receives Ernest Ikoli Personality Award of Excellence, Honors Niger Delta Mothers.

A renowned Nigerian human and environmental rights activst, super Comrade Joseph Evah, the National Coordinator ljaw Monitoring Group has bagged the prestigious Ernest lkoli Personality Award of Excellence.

The award was presented to him on Saturday in Lagos by the National President ljaw Publishers Forum lPF, Comrade Austin Ozobo who was ably represented by the Vice President, Oyinbi Onduku.

During the presentation ceremony, Onduku noted that the award was in recognition of super Comrade Joseph Evah outstanding contributions to amplifying the Niger Delta Quest for economic, political and environmental justice over the years.

He reiterated that Evah has done noble well in protecting, projecting and promoting the ljaw nation through advocacy, humanitarian services among others. The ljaw Publishers Forum, lPF and ljaw nation are proud to have person like Evah, praying God to give him good health, strength, long life and prosperity to continue to enjoy the fruits of his hard labour and sacrifices for ljaw people in particular, and Niger Delta at large.

Receiving the prestigious award, Evah expressed gratitude to God and IPF for the honor and recognition bestowed on him, stressing that the struggle for better ljaw nation cannot be undermined. He dedicates the award to the mothers of Niger Delta for their selfless sacrifices in praying for the South-South governors to wake up from their slumber for development of the region.

Evah used the medium to called on senator Douye Diri, the governor of Bayelsa state to resolve the strike issue with ASU in order to call off the strike at Niger Delta University (NDU) Amasuoma so that our children can  return back to school.
