The third day of the 2026 Amaseikumor Festival in Gbaramatu Kingdom, Delta State, featured another entertaining football encounter as Isoko National FC defeated Egbema FC 2–1 in the ongoing Gbaramatu Youth Council (GYC) tournament at Oporoza. The match attracted a large turnout, with supporters from both sides creating a lively atmosphere filled with chants and drums as the competition intensified.

Isoko began the game on the front foot, controlling possession and pressing high in search of an early breakthrough. Their persistence paid off in the first half when a well-worked attacking move ended with a clinical finish, giving them a deserved lead. The goal boosted Isoko’s confidence, while Egbema struggled briefly to settle into the rhythm of the match.

After the restart, Egbema returned with renewed determination, pushing forward and committing more players into attack. Their effort paid off midway into the second half when a quick counterattack caught the Isoko defense off guard, resulting in the equalizer and sparking loud celebrations among Egbema supporters.

The game remained evenly balanced afterward, with both teams creating chances and the tempo rising as the clock wound down. Isoko, however, capitalized on a defensive lapse late in the match, converting the decisive goal that restored their advantage. Egbema launched a late surge in search of another equalizer, but Isoko’s backline stayed organized and held on until the final whistle.

The victory gives Isoko National FC a valuable boost in the standings as the football tournament continues to be one of the major highlights of the Amaseikumor Festival. The competition has continued to showcase grassroots talent, strengthen unity among communities, and add excitement to the week long cultural celebration in Gbaramatu Kingdom.
